ATM FRAUD Last Friday, October 18, Robert Reid, and 28, of 131 Pilgrim Street went to an ATM machine in a confectionary store. It is alleged he withdrew over $400 from the bank account of a person known to him.

Last Friday, October 18, Robert Reid, and 28, of 131 Pilgrim Street went to an ATM machine in a confectionary store. It is alleged he withdrew over $400 from the bank account of a person known to him. The victim notified police and yesterday afternoon detectives arrested and charged Reid with theft under $5,000. He will appear in court on November 25.


MALE YOUNG OFFENDER ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
On September 21, at 10:15 p.m., a 17-year-old male young offender assaulted another young male by punching him and pushing him down into a ditch on Williams Street. The Sault Police Service was contacted and an investigation was begun. Yesterday, officers arrested and charged the young offender with assault. He will appear in court at the end of November.
