MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
Yesterday at 10:45 pm, patrol officers arrested and charged Curtis Daynard, age 19, of 389 Pim St. with assault, threatening death and breach of probation as a result of an incident on August 23rd. On that date, at 3:00 am, Daynard allegedly went to a home on Crawford St. and assaulted the resident by punching him in the face. He also threatened to kill him. At the time of this incident, Daynard was on probation conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct 21st.


YOUNG WOMAN ATTACKED IN HER HOME
Early today, at 2:35am patrol officers were called to a residence on Wallace Terrace where a 30-year-old male had broken in and assaulted the resident. The male broke into the home by kicking in the back door. Once inside he assaulted a 17-year-old female, known to him, by punching her in the head several times and by garbing her arm and twisting it.
