Join the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board for an Outdoor Education Information Session on Tuesday, May 6, at 6 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School (16 Texas Ave). This session is open to all families with students entering Grades 6 to 8 in Sault Ste. Marie for the 2025–2026 school year.
The Outdoor Education Program offers students a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences in natural settings. Students will participate in outdoor experiential learning at both St. Kateri Outdoor Learning Centre and Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School. The program emphasizes a deep connection to the land and integrates Indigenous perspectives and land-based teachings throughout the curriculum.
