A Counsellor/Psychotherapist provides therapeutic interventions based on evidence informed and promising practice to individuals, couples, families, and workplaces to address issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, coping, relationship conflict, separation and divorce, stress, abuse and anger. Services are informed by strength-based, client-centered, inclusive practices and interventions which are congruent with TBC’s vision, mission, values, and strategic priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate requires at minimum:
-Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
-Masters level degree in a social science with a minimum three (3) years’ experience
-Solid clinical framework with knowledge in a variety of therapeutic interventions
-A commitment to practices in all areas of responsibility that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism
