We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Senior Digital Contract Specialist who will be responsible for providing contract governance and relationship management support and oversight for standard operational digital gaming to ensure service providers adhere to contractual obligations, execute contract management process and assist internal stakeholders in their understanding of the digital gaming commercial contracts. Additionally, the role provides support to the Senior Commercial Contract Manager on more complex contracts.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Director Contract Management, you will be empowered to:

  • Responsible for executing contract management plans to ensure all aspects of assigned contracts are met, and prepare measures and execute protocols to mitigate risks and report concerns related to contracts to the Commercial Contract Manager
  • Provide support to Sr Commercial Contract Manager in chairing digital gaming Governance Committees to provide ongoing guidance and oversight on contract management
  • Attend and support Operational Management Committees as defined in the digital gaming contracts to provide contract support and relationship governance support
  • Prepare reports on Operational Management Committees for distribution to Relationship Management Committees to appraise on the status, current activities, actions, and updates relevant to contracts in assigned portfolio
  • Responsible for the management of all contract changes and amendments and support the completion of the same in coordination with vendors, procurement and Legal teams on standard implementation or operational contracts
  • Develop briefing memos for Leadership and Executives on all invoices and contract changes
  • Monitor vendor obligations related to standard implementation or operational digital gaming contracts, including purchase orders, receiving and verifying invoices etc., to ensure sound contract governance for standard implementation or operational contracts
  • Responsible for the design, implementation and management of the Digital Contract SharePoint Site and documentation control processes
  • Liaise with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure that all invoices from vendors in assigned portfolio of contracts are processed on a timely basis and in accordance with OLG processes to ensure prompt payments
  • Manage Contract Hub and maintain digital contract obligation logs
  • Act as the secretariat for governance committees, leading the process to engage and work with committee chairpersons to ensure committees operate appropriately, keeping committee charters up to date, and maintaining master action and master issue logs for all governance committees
  • Liaise with multiple operational and finance groups to collect updates and statistics to be presented in management updates
  • Assist the Commercial Contract manager in implementing and maintaining contract governance committee meeting charters
  • Liaise with vendors as delegate of Contract Manager to manage ongoing services and contractual issues
  • Follow the digital gaming SDM Implementation Playbook

WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY

Work Experience: • 3-5 years of experience in negotiating, accounting, business administration or related fields is required •3-5 years of experience in negotiating and managing contracts and invoices in procurement is required 

Education: • University degree in commerce, accounting, business administration or related fields is required • Strong problem-solving and communication skills is required

Critical Skills: Strong negotiation skills are required • Strong vendor management skills are required • Communication and interpersonal skills • Conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient in MS Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and Salesforce

Licenses, Registrations, Certificates: This role may require a Category 1 or Category 2 Gaming Assistant Registration (License) from our regulator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). If required, employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining this registration (license), which will be initiated at the offer stage.
