Changes at the Shaw, McLellan Law Firm
The Shaw, McLellan Law Firm in Collingwood is pleased to announce some recent changes. Paul Shaw is grateful for the patronage of thousands of clients over the past 47 years. “Over my career I had the privilege of representing clients in many areas of the law. For the most part common sense prevailed among the many statutes, regulations and jurisprudence. Of course, a good lawyer has to know the law. (On the other hand, some maintain that a great lawyer has to know the Judge.)”
Mr. Shaw will continue to be counsel to the law firm which is now under new ownership. Jacob Murad is the managing partner/lawyer of a number of law firms primarily in the Toronto area (such as KPA Lawyers) and Shaw, McLellan is an important component of the law firm network. Gail Mumford has joined Shaw, McLellan on a full-time basis covering areas of real estate, estates, wills and powers of attorney and some family law. Jacob specializes in corporate law. Civil and family litigation are handled by competent lawyers at one of the Toronto offices but lawyers can attend in Collingwood when needed. Apart from these exciting changes much of the Shaw, McLellan experience remains the same – same location at the 10 Schoolhouse Lane iconic building, same staff, same superb service. If you are a client and have wills and/or powers of attorney stored for you at Shaw, McLellan, these will continue to be securely stored for you at no cost.
