This months' session Empowered Seniors Speaker Series will take a bit of a twist from our regular format. It will be an exciting day where attendees can visit with 30+ local organizations, businesses and individuals offering services, support, and information for older adults and their families. On April 9, 2025 the Empowered Seniors Speakers Series is pleased to be hosting the LIVING WELL EXPO, a day designed to empower and educate.
Drop by anytime between 11 AM - 3 PM to explore 1) resources that can help you live well, 2) learn about options for senior living and, 3) speak with our Educational Partners and exhibitors (a full list of exhibitors will be available soon). The Living Well Expo promises to be an enriching experience for anyone on the journey of active aging.
The day will also include Smart Moves; Downsizing for a Stress Free Future, presented by Irene Dzioba, 360 Downsizing at 11:15am - 12:00pm, 12:30 - 1:15 pm, and 1:45- 2:30pm. Irene's presentations will be held in the Fireside Lounge which is just down the hall from the main Exhibitor Hall. Given the limited seating in the Fireside Lounge, and to avoid disappointment, advance registration for the time slot you'd like to attend is highly recommended.
In addition, bring along your unwanted or broker gold and silver jewellery and other precious metals. Advisors from Minty Gold & Silver Exchange will be on-site providing education on the true value of your gold and silver, empowering you to make an informed decision. If you choose to sell, they will purchase your items on the spot, and pay by cheque or e-transfer. What you find in your closet or bottom of your drawers could be worth more than you think!
