KENJGEWIN TEG IS RECRUITING FOR FIVE (5) SUMMER EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS

Kenjgewin Teg is a lifelong place of learning, asserting its Anishinabek educational autonomy by using a community-driven and community-based approach in its programs and services. Kenjgewin Teg is currently recruiting five (5) summer students to provide support in Anishinaabe-aadiziwin, Early Learning, and Post-Secondary Education program support. These summer positions will be located at the main M’Chigeeng campus location (374A Highway 551) and the Little Current site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Summer students will support the planning and delivery in the following areas for July and August:

- Administration – Maintenance (1)
- Anishinaabe-aadiziwin (1)
- Early Learning (1)
- Post-Secondary Education Program Support (2)

The summer students will also provide support to other departments as requested.

Please note that employment will commence June 30, 2025, and go until August 29, 2025, and working hours will be from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday (four days a week).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a Grade 11 or Grade 12 student OR a student returning to post-secondary school in September 2025. Verification must be provided.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of computers, including word processing and data applications, preferably in a Microsoft environment.
- Some work experience is preferred, but not necessary.
- Must be able to work independently and show initiative.
- Must be a member of a First Nation.
