SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG), brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Linus
(Humane Society)
Linus is a three-year-old neutered male coonhound mix who was recently returned to the shelter. He is an active, playful pup who is housebroken.
Linus is looking for a family who can ensure that he stays on his current diet to avoid his allergies flaring up; which has lead him to have ear infections.
This hound dog would be best as an only pet and is looking for an adult-only home.
Currently the shelter is limiting contact with the public by doing all adoptions by appointment; which allows us to sanitize surfaces and to avoid people coming into contact with each other.
All available animals are currently on the website where people can email us their applications to adopt the animal that they are interested in. We are still reuniting animals with their owners and answering all phone calls from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. during the week and 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. on weekends.
