SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
Lucas
(TAAG)
Lucas is a very handsome fellow with beautiful green eyes. Lucas is neutered, vaccinated and ready to go to his forever home.
Lucas may do better in a home without dominant male cats, or with quiet submissive cats where he would not feel threatened. He had to fend for himself for a long time.
Often these cats have been picked on by other cats when they were on the run, so they are intimidated by other males who have dominant tendencies.
Cats and kittens released for adoption through TAAG have had a Wellness checkup at the vet’s, FELV testing, shots, dewormer, and flea medication if needed.
If you would like to meet or adopt any of the kittens, or any of the available cats, please contact us.
Visit us at The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) Website, where you will find information on shelter location, hours of operation, ways to help, and adoption information.
The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located at 189 Elgin Street, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, offering rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.
While these animals are in our care, medical attention, spay/neuter services and lots of love are provided until homes are found. Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.
