SooToday meteorologist Jerry Shields says even colder air moves in today with temperatures near 5°C with windchills closer to freezing.
The northwest wind may bring weak snow squalls into the region off of Lake Superior. A few centimetres of accumulation is possible for the city and regions to the east.
North toward Searchmont and Batchawana, there is a chance for 5-10cm of snow from these squalls. Most of the snow should melt in the afternoon during the hottest part of the day.
