SooToday meteorologist Jerry Shields says the cold air starts to move in today with temperatures near -8C in the morning and falling to near -15C by sunset.
Wind chill values will fall below -20C around noon and keep dropping. Overnight lows will fall towards -30C.
Today, there will be a few flurries which will end by noon. This will be followed by mainly cloudy skies and a 30 per cent chance for flurries. The wind meanwhile, will blow northward at a rate of 20 km/h before gusting up to 40 km/h near noon.
Tonight, the skies will be clear cloudy periods.
