With a new year upon us and many reflecting on the events of 2014, it's always fun to expand the soundtrack of our lives by acquiring new music.
Why not delve into Sault Ste. Marie's vast talent pool to flesh out those libraries?
A number of Sault and area artists released new music throughout 2014, and we've dug deep to compile the list below for your reference.
In addition to permanent Algoma residents, SooToday.com has highlighted new releases from bands whose lineups include Sault ex-pats, such as Boseveld, a project from former area resident and past member of Kalle Mattson's band, Thean Slabbert; Mikey Hawdon's (Inner City Surfers, Lion Ride) Toronto band The Fairmounts; The Order of Good Cheer, fronted by Sault boy Frank Guidoccio; and Public Animal, which features Ryan Gassi on drums.
