Algoma Conservatory of Music presents A Conservatory Christmas
Algoma Conservatory of Music will present their annual Christmas ensemble concert on Sunday, December 9 at 3 p.m. in Central United Church.
This is a festive and uplifting holiday concert for the whole family.
Tickets are available at the door - Adults: $10; Children $5.
A Conservatory Christmas features the excellent student ensembles at the Algoma Conservatory including: the Algoma Conservatory youth choirs directed by Stephen Mallinger and Agnes McCarthy; youth orchestras directed by Vanessa Mio, Claire Burrows and Guy Traficante; the Conservatory Concert Strings directed by Rosemary Gosse; guitar ensembles directed by Frank Deresti; flute ensembles directed by Erin Greenwood; and music readiness classes directed by Susan Traficante.
The concert will also feature special guest, Laura Widgett, soprano and the Central Handbell Choir, directed by Paul Dingle.
Laura is a former student voice student of Agnes McCarthy at the Conservatory and is now completing a degree in vocal performance at the University of Toronto.
