"The Dastardly Doctor Devereaux" will be performed at CASS on December 14th, 15th and 16th at 7:00 pm. This is a hilarious musical, medical spoof that the whole family can enjoy. The show is being directed by Mrs. Foster with music direction by Mr. Frech.

The story (written by Billy St. John) follows the story of Lotta Cash, a wealthy widow, who must be on the lookout for people trying to relieve her of her money. The evil Dogsbreath Devereaux, M.D., sets his sights on marrying Lotta so he can inherit her fortune and her late husband's clinic. High jinks ensue with the help of the nasty nurse, Hilda Hatchet, whom Devereaux promises to wed her after he gets rid of Lotta.

Medical mania take place when the insanely jealous Hilda catches Dogsbreath flirting with our heroine, Wendy March. The only person who can save the characters from certain death is Dr. Phil Good. With an abundance of zany patients, wild tunes ("How Do You Bandage a Broken Heart?," "Emergency," "Do the Bop," ) and a hilarious plot, this musical will definitely have you in stitches.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $5 for students & seniors (55+), and $3 for children 12 years of age and under. Tickets are available from cast members and/or by calling Mr. Frech at CASS (782-6263, ext. 23).
