The gymnasium at the Gearge Leach Centre was packed with vendors, spectators, and dancers of all ages Saturday afternoon as Algoma University hosted its annual Gathering at the Rapids Pow Wow.
Everyone is welcome to attend this two-day celebration which continues this evening with a Grand Entry at 7 p.m. as music and dancing carries on until 9 p.m. tonight. Things pick up again Sunday with Grand Entry at noon.
Admission to the event and parking are free.
