Approximately 3,900 fans gathered at the Essar Centre Wednesday night to see Brad Paisley kick off the second leg of his Life Amplified World Tour.

The performance came with warning, however.

“We haven’t played in a very long time,” Paisley said, one song into his set and after splitting his lip open on his mic. He told the crowd he and his band were going to make mistakes.

Happy to just be in the presence of the multi award-winning artist, we doubt any of his admirers would even take note if he did.

Paisley’s Life Amplified World Tour has stops scheduled in Sudbury, Peterborough and Kingston before heading to the East Coast.

Joining him on stage Wednesday night as his special guests were Chase Bryant from Texas, and Calgary’s Lindsay Ell.
