Art Opening - Sixty Watt Bulb

This is the second exhibition of 2006 and we feel that this will break new ground and cause quite the stir in the art community. Sixty Watt Bulb is the 'brush' name for Gregoire Gionette and his exhibition is called Deviant.

I have only seen a sample of his work but fell in love with his photographic exploration of the pride festivals and the sex industry in Toronto.

His pieces are not to viewed casually but rather demand your attention, challenge you to think about the images and force you to question your own ideologies.

This is a show that you don't often see in Sault Ste Marie because of the fear of the topics that he explores but is also an exhibition that true artists crave for whether they like what they see or not.
