Christina Aguilera "Back to Basics" 2007 North American Tour
The Pussycat Dolls & Danity Kane to open 41-City arena tour kicking off February 20 in Houston, Texas
LOS ANGELES - Christina Aguilera will launch her 41-city "Back to Basics" 2007 North American tour on February 20th in Houston, Texas.
Special guests the Pussycat Dolls will open for Christina on all North American dates and Danity Kane will also join the bill for U.S. concerts.
Ticket on-sales for the tour begin on Saturday, October 14.
The "Back to Basics" 2007 North American tour is scheduled for arena concert stops in Dallas, Los Angeles, Boston, San Diego, Phoenix, Vancouver, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Toronto, Miami, Montreal, New York (Tour itinerary listed below).
The North American tour follows Christina's recently announced European concerts, kicking off November 17 in Sheffield, England, including shows in Austria, Holland, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland.
Aguilera has assembled an acclaimed production team for her upcoming concert tour featuring choreographer and director Jamie King (Madonna, Janet Jackson, Prince) and Roberto Cavalli, who will be the tour's exclusive costume designer.
Working together, the team will create a modern inventive vision fused with elements of retro glamour.

The "Back to Basics" 2007 North American Tour will feature a unique stage design that will allow Christina's fans unprecedented access to the stage with unbelievable sight lines.
The tour will feature three distinct stage scenes, illuminated by more than 600 moving lights and a state-of-the-art hydraulic system.
In addition, a very special video montage will be featured from fan testimonials that have been submitted to Christina's fan club BabyJaneFanClub.com.
Aguilera has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, scored four #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has won three Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award.
Her third critically acclaimed album Back to Basics, debuted at #1 on four of Billboard’s music charts in the United States and also hit #1 in 15 countries including the U.K., Canada, Japan, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Thailand.
The double-disc set, produced primarily by DJ Premier and Linda Perry utilizes an orchestra, choir, string quartet and jazz horns, to blend a vintage raw sound with modern hip hop and soul flair.
