Crystal Shawanda plays Kewadin this Saturday

Country artist Crystal Shawanda, who grew up on Manitoulin Island's Wikwemikong reservation and attended high school in Sault Ste. Marie, will perform in Kewadin Casino's Dream Maker Theatre on Saturday, December 20th with special opening act Mason Dixon Line.

Her RCA Nashville debut release Dawn of a New Day debuted at No. 2 on on the Soundscan Top Country Albums chart in Canada, and the first single You Can Let Go is currently in high rotation on country radio stations across North America.

Shawanda recently took home all five awards she was nominated for, including Album of the Year, at the 10th annual Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards and she is nominated for an award at the upcoming Canadian Radio Music Awards.

Presented by MIssissauga Community Radio and Bebamikawe Studios, tickets for this dinner/show fundraiser are $75, $90 and $100.
