CTV says we're wrong about Tanya Kim

SooToday.com received word from CTV today that our previous coverage claiming Global's ET Canada is beating eTalk in the ratings.

We seem to find ourselves in the midst of a ratings war and our heads hurt.

eTalk remains Canada's No. 1 entertainment news program

CTV confirmed Tuesday that, despite claims to the contrary, more Canadians watch eTalk than any other Canadian entertainment news program.

Data from BBM Nielsen media research representing a nation-wide picture of television viewing in Canada confirms that eTalk leads all competition in total viewers.

Since its inception, eTalk has consistently delivered more viewers than any other similar program, a trend that has continued since the current 2006/2007 season began and when measured since January 1, 2007.

Season to Date: August 28, 2006 to April 1, 2007

eTalk 473,000

ET Canada 443,000

2007: January 1, 2007 to April 1, 2007
