About Lee Harvey Osmond

As it states on their MySpace page: "LeE HARVey OsMOND is Tom Wilson, some of the Cowboy Junkies, a few Skydiggers, Ray Farrugia from Junkhouse, Brent Titcomb and a lot of groove."

A relatively new Tom Wilson project, little is known about Lee Harvey Osmond except that members include Michael Timmins of the Cowboy Junkies and Josh Finlayson of the Skydiggers.

There are a couple of stories floating around about how this Canadian indie supergroup came to fruition.

One states that due to the temporary hiatus of Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Wilson contacted some music friends to do a little recording.

Another claims that the group formed after Wilson was asked to participate in Kennedy Suites, a Cowboy Junkies project based on the JFK assassination.

Either way, the collaboration will please any fan of Tom Wilson and/or the Cowboy Junkies.

Look for Lee Harvey Osmond's debut release, Quiet Evil, which is rumoured to hit the shelves in early 2009.

A Canadian tour is in the works to accompany the release.
