About Sunday Night Cruise

In spring of 2003, inside a VW Beetle on their way to Applebee's for root beers, Janzen, Stamler and Woods came to a decision that would change the way they lived their lives.

They would combine all their favorite sounds and noises to make something that people would hear all over the world.

Since deciding this, they have moved to Winnipeg, recorded an album (iconflict 2004), sold over 2000 copies, toured Canada, toured Denmark, moved back to Thunder Bay and worked with five different guitar players.

The fifth, Niskanen, would be the one to fill the void.

With Niskanen on board they joined World Vision's Artist Associate program, allowing them to have kids in third world countries available for sponsor at each and every gig.

It was summer 2006 when SNC decided to take part in their first humanitarian project.

Teaming up with Absolute Leadership Development and Hero Holiday, they came over with 150 Canadian teenagers to the Dominican Republic to participate in various building projects that would change the lives of many Dominicans and every Canadian teenager involved.

Sunday Night Cruise may not be your typical rock band.

Not everyone would jump on a plane and build a school in a foreign country.

Yet, they want you to remember that they are a rock band first and prefer to remedy the massive social and economic injustice of twenty-first century earth because it is part of who they are.

With plans to tour Canada non-stop and an upcoming second album to be started in Spring 2007, the band looks forward to what will be a very productive, insanely busy and life-changing year.
