The story behind Rock On

Since early 2016 the music world has sadly seen the deaths of David Bowie, Glenn Frey, Prince, George Michael, Leonard Cohen and most recently Tom Petty. The music of these cherished stars has left a lasting impact on society and compelled Frankly Speaking, made of Frank Gioia and Frank Greco, to pay tribute to these and many other artists.

The musicians / educators have created a production that sees the live performance of unforgettable songs with edited film and imagery transform into a rock history timeline. Rock On highlights how the featured artists influenced pop culture and important human right issues such as racial segregation, residential schools, the LGBTQ movement, mental health, war and the plight of refugees.
