Good Enough for Neko Case? Good Enough For Loplops: Dave Lang Live

What is it like to be a smart-ass with a heart of gold? How can someone love the power ballad and the high lonesome sound? Just ask metal-head, country-punk, arena-glam-rock wannabe Dave Lang.

Ok, so Lang really doesn't really fall into any of those categories, but he most definitely does elude definition by blending genres to the point of parody.

The Regina-based Lang has been on a definite upswing since the release of his new studio album, "Live And In Quonset." The singer/guitar player is currently embarked on an Eastern Tour and will be bringing his raw prairie talent and humour to Loplops Lounge on Thursday, November 4th starting at 9:00 p.m.

He has appeared alongside alternative country performers such as Neko Case and The Sadies, and for those in the know, that says it all.

Lang will be performing with special guest John Wort Hannam, a songwriter's songwriter, who is currently on tour in support of his new CD entitled "Pocket Full of Holes".
