Here are all the winners from this year's ROTARYFEST

The winners received various gifts in different categories, including cash prizes in the ROTARYFEST Take Your Pick Draw

ROTARYFEST has announced winners in this year's festival.

With three days of free entertainment, delicious food, family fun, and beautiful weather, everyone was a winner at this year’s ROTARYFEST, The Sault’s Summer Festival!

Some attendees were extra winners…

Kevin Oicle won the People’s Choice Award of $500 at the Wheels on the Water Car Show held at The Machine Shop with his ‘34 Ford Coup Legend Stockcar.

Silver Bullet BBQ won Best Ribs and Best Chicken, as determined by a panel of nine judges. Billy Bones BBQ won the People’s Choice Award, which was determined by votes cast by attendees over the three days.

This year’s Rotary Community Day Parade is presented by the Brookfield category winner, chosen by volunteer judges from the Kiwanis Club of Sault Ste. Marie, were:

  • Best Overall: Freedom Sisters presents Freedom Sisters’ Greater
  • Best Corporate Entry: OLG presents Back to the '70s!
  • Best Community Entry: THRIVE Child Development Centre presents A Sweet Song of The Past
  • Best Kinetic: Algoma Steel Inc. presents Electric Avenue
  • Best Theme: Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre 

At the Soo Mill Mini Putt for Prizes, Ben Oliver won the 13 and over division and received a $100 Soo Mill gift card and runner-up Adrian O’Dell won a fire pit. In the 12 and under category, Gianluca Gioia received a $75 Soo Mill gift card, and runner-up Owen Hore received a $50 Soo Mill gift card. 

The winners of the ROTARYFEST Take Your Pick Draw were drawn Saturday night and are as follows:

  • $1,000 Soo Mill - #07691 Eunice and Murray Patterson
  • $4,000 Soo Mill - #06280 Donna Olar
  • $10,000 Soo Mill - #00144 Trevor Alton
  • Grand Prize Winner - #03185 Daniela Zagordo

The Rotary Club of Sault Ste.
