The cast for the upcoming show Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has officially been announced.

Members of the 62-person cast include, but aren't limited to, Michael Dal Cin as Wily Wonka, Max Grant as Charlie Buckett, Robb Fisher as Grandpa Joe, Katriina Hopper as Mrs. Buckett, Catharina Christenson as Grandma Josephine, Krissy Strickland as Grandma Georgina, Chris Horsepool as Grandpa George.

Tickets to the West End Theatre Project's last show of the year can be purchased online or in person at the Sault Community Theatre Centre Box Office.

West End Theatre Project is announcing its upcoming cast for 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', the final show of the 2024 season.

The cast includes Michael Dal Cin as Willy Wonka, Max Grant as Charlie Buckett, Robb Fisher as Grandpa Joe, Katriina Hopper as Mrs. Buckett, Catharina Christenson as Grandma Josephine, Krissy Strickland as Grandma Georgina, Chris Horsepool as Grandpa George.

The cast also features Jennifer Avery as Mrs. Gloop, Colton McComb as Augustus Gloop, Leo Moore as Mr. Salt, Maggie Lawson as Veruca Salt, Mike Poluk as Mr. Beauregarde, Alexis Pawelek as Violet Beauregarde, Shenni Salucci as Mrs. Teevee and Gabriel Sawchyn as Mike Teavee.

The ensemble includes Beth Aaltonen, Cale Running, Ethan Heimonen, Feyisoyin Adeola, Isabella Gagnon, Jade Jack, Kathleen Trussler, Kyler Villebrun, Liz Inglis, Phin Tripp, Riley Korschin, Shannon Young, Stephanie Devoe, Stephen Patterson and Tim Ayo.

The 62 member cast also includes 32 Oompa Loompas Abigail Sgouraditis, Ariana Comegna, Molly MacDonald, Lily Wright, Olive Rowlinson, Sophia Tessier, Grace Hillyard, Maisie Nelson, Talia Lepore, Barret Ryan, Charlotte McDermid, Elena Christie, Elise Hopper, Evelyn Franic, Grace McBride, Grace Shamess, Hunter Olar, Jocelyn St. Amour, Natalie St. Amour, Kara Rosset, Keira Katagis, Lachlan Agnew, Madelyn McLean, Maia Trumble, Michaela Iaconis, Mya Morin, Olivia Fournier, Robert Eady, Teah Pelletier, Rowan Piner, Violet Piner and Zachary Davies-Burnell.

Lucas Beaver will helm the production with Rony Dal Cin as music director and Nancy Kinney as vocal director. The stage management team will be led by Kristine Thomas and include Betty Currie and Trudy DeGraw. Valerie Pluss and Michael Dal Cin will produce for West End Theatre Project. 

SYNOPSIS: The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka's army of curious Oompa-Loompas. Based on the book by Roald Dahl.
