An Evening at Hogwarts is returning to the Sault this fall with The Half Blood Prince.
Tickets go on sale online June 3 at 7 p.m.
VIP tickets are listed at $180 and General tickets at $140.
This event takes place Nov. 8 at 4 p.m. at the Machine Shop. All of the proceeds raised will support cancer care equipment needs at Sault Area Hospital.

An Evening at Hogwarts returns to Sault Ste. Marie this fall with The Half Blood Prince! After raising over $100,000 with past years’ events, the Hogwarts Alumni volunteer committee returns to create the enchanting world around the 6th installment of the Potter series, with 100 per cent of proceeds staying local to support cancer care equipment needs at Sault Area Hospital.
The main event, An Evening at Hogwarts: The Half Blood Prince will be held at the Machine Shop on Nov. 8, 2025 at 4 p.m. This immersive adventure includes an Ollivander’s wand to take on the Death Eaters or the Order of the Phoenix, a chance to attend wizarding classes, visit Weasley’s Burrow, and explore Dumbledore’s memories, but the fun doesn’t end there. Enjoy a delicious four-course meal while diving into Potions Class and browse Hogwarts-themed items from specialty vendors or purchase Patronus Luminous lanterns to honour or remember loved ones affected by cancer. In addition to experiencing the enchanting decor, participants receive local merchandise in their swag bag, can bid on fabulous gifts in the silent auction, and so much more!
This year, VIP tickets will once again be available for purchase. VIP tickets allow you to officially join The Slug Club: front-row table seat at the house of your choice, butterbeer voucher, VIP line and entrance, and special gift. Tickets go on sale June 3 at 7 p.m. online only. VIP tickets are listed at $180 and General tickets at $140. Also returning this year, is the Wee Wizard Tour that takes place the morning of Nov. 8. Wee Wizard Tour tickets will be available in September. "This event has become an annual highlight for our community," shares Theresa LeClair, co-chair of the Hogwarts Alumni volunteer committee. "We look forward to bringing the magic to the hundreds who attend but we’re also passionate about raising much-needed funds to fight cancer, locally. The money all stays local: it arms our hospital with the equipment needed to care for the nearly 400 patients SAH treats each year. Over the past few years, we’ve donated over $124,000 to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, contributing towards a new mammography unit and the renovation to replace the Linear Accelerator (radiation)."
