The sun was bright, but the spirits were even brighter as area residents excitedly gathered at the Captain Tilley Community Centre for the 44th installment of Goulais River Community Days.
Hundreds of attendees participated in various activities like the baseball tournament, face painting, bouncy castles, live entertainment, and of course – the annual parade.
Dozens of floats, many of which were circus-themed, made their way through the Goulais River streets as kids were catching candy and enjoying the sights and sounds of the raucous parade.
Vendors were on-site at the community centre, providing anything from food and treats to homeware and garments.
The weekend is jam-packed full of events as Goulais River Community Days will run until 1 a.m. tonight and will be back on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
