Contemporary Canadian Drawing-Based Practices

May 26 - July 29, 2006

The focus of Just My Imagination project is a major exhibition of contemporary Canadian drawing.

It brings together 14 artists from coast to coast whose work is representative of a dynamic range of approaches characteristic of the most robust drawing today.

In addition to the exhibition and tour, a symposium, artists residencies and presentation, and full colour catalogue have been produced.

Participating artists: Stephen Andrews, Sheila Butler, Lucie Chan, Cathy Daley, Raphaelle de Groot, Michelle Gay, Luanne Martineau, Jason McLean, Alison Norlen, Ed Pien, John Scott, Candice Tarnowski, David Tomas, and Anna Torma.

This exhibtion, coordinated by Sheila Butler and guest curated by David Merritt and Kim Moodie, is organized and circulated by MMB Collective and Museum London with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
