White Pines Coffee House

Relax and listen to live musical performances by White Pines students at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 at the White Pines Community Theatre (1007 Trunk Rd.) Cost for the event is $5 per adult and $2 per student. Coffee, tea and baking will all be available.
Rendezvous Dinner Dance
April 23
Enjoy a dinner dance featuring music from the 50s, 60s and 70s at the Marconi Cultural Event Centre on Saturday, April 23 starting at 6 p.m. Pauline and Roseanne, The Harmony Sisters, will be performing. The evening will include cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by a five-course dinner and dancing until 10 p.m. Cost for the event is $60 per person or $120 per couple. Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast

Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore this Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Moose Lodge (543 Trunk Rd.) All proceeds will go towards local community initiatives and projects. There will be fluffy pancakes, sausages, maple syrup, along with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice. All proceeds will go towards local community initiatives and projects. The Kiwanis Club’s latest project is the Rosedale Park Revitalization Project.

Support more local live music this weekend with The Bearded Lounge on Saturday, April 23 from 8 to 11 p.m. The acoustic duo is set to perform some familiar tunes at Casey’s Grill and Pub inside the Water Tower Inn.
Algoma Makers Market Spring Vendor Show
April 24
Visit the Algoma Makers Market this Sunday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Quattro Hotel and Conference Centre for their Spring Vendor Show. There will be 50 local makers and creators participating in the show. Vendor features will be listed on the Algoma Makers Market Facebook page. Entry will be by cash or food donation to St Vincent's Place.
My Son the Hurricane
April 29
Canadian funk hip hop band My Son the Hurricane will be performing at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre (50 Pim St.) on Friday, April 29 starting at 7 p.m. My Son the Hurricane’s performances are known as multi horn, multi drummer, multi singer brass funk dance parties.The band also includes former Sault Ste. Marie resident and drummer Danno O’Shea. Tickets for the show are $25 each and can be found online.
