Planes and Festival Choirs: Annual Christmas Concert (Updated)

Algoma Festival Choir, under the direction of Stephen Mallinger, is pleased to present its annual Christmas concert, "A Christmas Night" at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 8:00 pm.

This concert will have a number of special guest artists including Anya Mallinger (violin), Margaret Hooper (bassoon), Cathy LaRue (oboe), and Meghan Stevens (flute). The choir will perform traditional Christmas carols in an unconventional venue. A reception is included in the ticket price of $15.00. Tickets are available at Thomas Walls School of Music on Spring and Albert Street.

In addition, there will be an Open Dress Reheasal on Friday December 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre will be of special interest to families and younger audiences. Adults are $5.00 at the door and children 12 and under are free. This is a casual presentation of Saturday's "A Christmas Night" Concert.
