Thursday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. experience living history at the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site with War of 1812 Reenactments, cultural celebrations, food, music, tradtional crafts, musket demonstrations, cannon fire and a candy cannon!
Digital Creator North Fall Photography Walk
With fall colours all around us Digital Creator North invites teens to the SSM public library and area to take part in a fall photo walk on Friday September 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Soo Theatre Project Faculty & Friends Recital
Friday, September 20th at 7p.m. check out the talent in our neighbouring Soo as they perform some of their favorite pieces, as soloists, duos, trios, and more! Our performers are: Karen Beacom, Meg Boucher, Lisa Justin, Lola Kennedy, Betty Struble, Maggie Twining, and more! This is a wonderful way for the community and student body to support the theatre and instructors.
Greyhound Season Opener Bloch Party
Friday from 4 p.m. to 7:07 p.m. celebrate the season opener with a party from Bruce to Dennis Street. Including Box Hockey from The City of Sault Ste. Marie, local beer Northern Superior Brewing Co., food by J.Caroline's, live music, games, fun and more!

Bushplane Days
This Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre have a soaring good time at the 24th Annual Bushplane Days Festival with food, music, bouncy castles, crafts, demonstrations, paintball, carnival games, balloon animals, train rides and more! Special guest appearances by Super Girl, Ariel, Captain America and Paw Patrol! The cost is only $5 for adults, $2 for kids aged 5-12, and kids under 4 are free!
Sylvan Circle Tour
On Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. meet over sixty of the area’s finest artists and artisans at the 19th annual Sylvan Circle Artist & Artisan Tour. The tour is held at community and township halls along the picturesque countryside between Echo Bay and Bruce Mines. Free admission. See sylvancircle.ca for map & details.
Big Blue Box Food Drive
This Saturday help St. Vincent Place give hope to the hungry and homeless of Sault Ste. Marie by helping to fill their food bank shelves. Take part in our Ninth Annual Big Blue Box Food Drive by placing your nonperishable donations at your curb in any box or bag by 10:00 a.m. That's it! That's all you have to do. Volunteers will come pick up your donation.
Sault Crimestoppers Shredding & Recycling Event
Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. in the Winner's parking lot, Sault Crime Stoppers has partnered with RioCan & J&B shredding to fundraise for community safety. Crime Stoppers is accepting household & business documents as well as unwanted electronics and scrap metal by donation to be shredded and recycled.
Turkey Supper
Saturday, September 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Echo Bay United Church they'll be hosting a Turkey Supper. Get a delicious traditional turkey supper with pie for only $15, children are $7.50, 5 and under are free, take out is also available.
Movie Night for World Alzheimer’s Day

Positively Pink Craft & Vendor Show
Positively Pink Craft & Vendor show to take place at Grand Gardens North on Sunday, September 22 2019 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is to raise funds for local charity Tracy's Dream in support of the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness month. Come out and see what 40+ local crafters and vendors have to offer. There is no entry fee but a donation box will be onsite for anyone who wishes to contribute.
