AlgomaTrad Fall Heritage Arts Festival
The 2019 AlgomaTrad Fall Heritage Arts Festival happens October 3rd to 6th on St. Joseph Island. It is a celebration of Heritage Arts, Traditional Music and Dance, and Local Food featuring concerts, numerous hands-on workshops, a Farm to Table Supper, and Community Dances. All You Can Eat Wing Night Fundraiser
Friday at the Tarentorus Sports Club from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The club will be hosting an All You Can Eat Wing night on Friday, October 4, 2019. This fundraising event will help with the purchase and installation of new, energy efficient rink lights and towards the purchase of safety equipment for our Junior Curling league. Tickets are $20 and includes all you can eat wings and fries prepared by Toto from Centre Ice.

Arts Against Homelessness
Arts Against Homelessness is a benefit concert that Live705, Suzie Deplonty, and Celeste's Art & Photography are putting together for the benefit of St. Vincent Place. Saturday at the The Rockk Starr Barr at 9:00 p.m. enjoy tunes by Planet Rock, A Dire Setback, Bold Noize and Re:Born. Tickets available online and at the door for only $10 and all proceeds go to St. Vincent's Place.
7th Annual Giant Pumpkin Festival
Saturday at The Algoma Farmer's Market under the Roberta Bondar Pavilion from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. come and see who has the biggest pumpkin in the 7th Giant Pumpkin Contest!
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest SSM is back at the Bushplane Museum this Saturday at noon. Come hang out with all your friends and spend the afternoon playing games and enjoying some great food (J. Harvest Tea & Scones
Join the Sault Ste. Marie Museum for their Harvest Tea & Scones Event on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $6 per person, an extra dollar to include admission to the museum! This is a drop-in event, you can purchase tickets at the door or in advance - your choice!
Kiwanis One Day - FREE Kids Event
Learn to Play Disc Golf & BBQ at Penhorwood Park (Corner of MacDonald Avenue and Pine Street) next to F.H Clergue Elementary School. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. hotdogs are only $2 and free for kids under 12 with water provided so bring a refillable water bottle.
Algoma Art Society Fall Exhibition & Sale
From a diverse group of over 40 artists, the Algoma Art Society will be having a group exhibition at L & D’s Art Gallery and Framing from October 5 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Algoma Fish and Game Club Fall Kids Fishing Day
Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019 at Kinsmen Park on Landslide Rd (down the hill at the pond) from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a free fun-filled outdoor day for children ages 14 and under.
Author, Rob Kesselring, comes to the Bushplane
Head down to the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. for a meet & greet with author Rob Kesselring. Rob will be doing a reading from his book, Merlyn Carter Bush Pilot, and show a slide presentation. Seating is limited so call 705-945-6242 to register.
