Andrew Nisker, the celebrated director known for tackling environmental issues, returns with the feature documentary This Film Is Garbage!, a captivating exploration of waste creation and its impact on the planet.
Picking up where his 2008 hit Garbage! The Revolution Starts At Home left off, Nisker’s latest work dives deeper into the choices we make and their role in the planet’s waste crisis, a news release said.
Much like his earlier groundbreaking project, Nisker asked two families, one from Toronto and one from Sault Ste. Marie, to keep all their garbage for three months.
Guided by these deeply personal stories, the film takes viewers on a thought-provoking and entertaining investigation into the massive amount of waste we generate, where it all ends up, and how it has affected the world since his first film 15 years ago.
The question remains—has anything changed for the better?
