Quick on his feet, seemingly timid, awkwardly neurotic, and always self-depreciating, Canada’s Jeremy Hotz is no stranger to the comedy stage.
Not only is the stand-up comedian a regular at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, on CBC’s Comics!, and Comedy Central Presents, Hotz has also been featured on The Late Show With David Letterman and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
Behind the scenes, he enjoyed a stint as a staff writer for The Jon Stewart Show.
As an actor, Hotz earned a Gemini Award for his role in the television series The Newsroom, and received three additional Gemini nominations for his stand-up comedy television specials.
Hotz, in all his miserable glory, will perform in Sault Ste. Marie at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017.
Tickets, available now for $41 each (plus taxes and fees), can be purchased online at www.kctc.ca, by phone at 705-945-7299, or in person at the Community Theatre Centre Box Office in the Station Mall.
