Come out and enjoy a free screening of the award winning film Angels in the Dust!
This documentary features Botshabelo Village, a safe haven for people in South Africa affected by HIV/AIDS and the inspiration for the Orphan Bracelet Campaign.
The Orphan Bracelet Campaign was started after the filming of Angels in the Dust by the director Louise Hogarth.
It is a non-profit organization with the goal of helping people who have been affected by HIV/AIDS by helping people build safe, sustainable communities.
These bracelets give income opportunities to women, while also supporting daily food programs for orphans, permaculture gardens to help communities become self-sufficient, and rain water collection tanks for safe drinking water.
Screenings will be held at Sault College in the Multimedia Center B1170 (beside the cafeteria) at 6 p.m. on November 25 and 26.
Bracelets will be sold at the events for $20 each (discounts are available when more than one are purchased).
All proceeds to go supporting women and children who have been affected by HIV/AIDS.
Please come show your support and enjoy this inspiring film!
