Founded in 1967 by Jann Wenner, Rolling Stone magazine quickly became the source for everything music and pop culture.

At the forefront of music journalism, Rolling Stone has witnessed and astutely presented virtually every milestone in Rock and Roll history, earning them a record readership of over 12 million people.

Having launched the careers of Hunter S. Thompson, Cameron Crowe and Annie Leibovitz, the magazine remains cutting-edge even after 40 years in circulation.

To celebrate it's 40th anniversary, Wenner Media and Rolling Stone have entered into an exclusive publishing and software partnership with Bondi Digital Publishing and will, this fall, release Rolling Stone Cover-to-Cover: The First 40 Years.

But this won't be a book, magazine or any other printed media.

Rolling Stone Cover-to-Cover: The First 40 Years will be a searchable DVD archive containing images of every single page from more than 1,000 issues of the magazine.

Every cover, photograph, interview and review exactly as they appeared in print will be at your finger tips.

This partnership marks the third in a series for Bondi Digital Publishing who, in 2005 created a digital library containing 80 years of The New Yorker and will also be publishing The Playboy Cover-to-Cover Series later this year.
