This year marks 100 years of Rotary in Sault Ste. Marie, and the service club has tons of fun lined up for the whole family throughout the weekend.
Here’s what’s on deck for today:
• Music on Stage 1 from 1 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. with The Kids from ’Sally’, Martinelli McGillivray and Roy, The Sundogs, Odd Man Out, The Suicide Kings, Pegasus, Dustin Jones and the Rising Tide, a tribute to past bands and musicians, a featured set by The Stampeders, and That’s Chester
• Music on the SooToday Stage 2 from 1 to 8:30 p.m. with The Elements, Barn Board Trio, Great Chamberlain, Machines Dream, Pointless, Wild Iris, and Jesse Marineau
• Miracle Mile Colour Blast begins at 10:35 a.m. at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre
• Wheels on the Water Car Show in the Civic Centre parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• 97th annual Community Day Parade rolls through downtown Sault Ste. Marie beginning at 11 a.m.
• Rotaryfest Midway from 2 to 11 p.m.
• Kids activities from noon to 6 p.m., including inflatables, face painting, giant chess, crafts, pony rides, Treetop Adventures Obstacle Course and much more
• Ribfest from noon to 10 p.m. and a variety of other food vendors
• Buskers at the busker pitch and strolling through the festival from 1 to 3:45 p.m., 5 to 5:45 p.m., and 7 to 8:45 p.m.
