The Centre for Social Justice and Good Works is looking for members to serve on its board of directors. Anyone interested in the centre's mission which is to "transform society for the greater good through works of charity and social justice" is encouraged to apply.

The Centre for Social Justice and Good Works (The Centre) is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Currently, The Centre is inviting interested individuals to apply to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term. The Board has a need for individuals with experience in a variety of disciplines including education, finance and human resources although all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
The Board of Directors is a diverse group of community leaders and key decision-makers who shape the Centre’s strategic vision, ensure that funding and donor support is used effectively, monitor overall organizational performance and help achieve positive outcomes for the community of Sault Ste. Marie.
Board members are committed to understanding and practicing good governance and will serve in leadership roles if asked. They are able to commit the necessary time and energy to the Board and are willing to participate in programs the Centre serves as an active ambassador and advocate.
