The Northern Lights Martial Arts Championships took place at Superior Heights Collegiate & Vocational School Saturday, bringing more than 100 athletes together for a day of competitive action.
The championships marked the return of martial arts competition to Sault Ste. Marie after a seven-year hiatus.
Martial arts practitioners competed in a number of events over the course of the day, including choreographed empty-handed movements, sparring and self-defence.
SooToday will have results from the championships once they become available.
