Collectively, Majors Pascale and Pierre Breckenridge, and their daughter Cassandra have provided 101 years of service to Cadets Canada.
As the 2310 Royal Canadian Army Cadets 75th annual review approaches, Pierre and Pascale will host a meet-and-greet on June 2 to commemorate their retirement from the Canadian Armed Forces. All former cadets, officers, civilian instructors, and support committee members are encouraged to attend.
Both Pascale and Pierre were cadets in the mid-1970s and enrolled as Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) officers after aging out. They have a combined total of more than 91 years with the program, says a news release issued by the Royal Canadian Legion. Cassandra’s involvement brings the family up to 101 years with the program.
After her recent completion of basic and officer training, Cassandra was promoted to second lieutenant. She has won a number of provincial and national biathlon titles as well as shooting medals as a cadet.
The 2310 Royal Canadian Army Cadets 75th annual review takes place on June 3.
