Recruitment for membership is already getting started to prepare this season.
The organization will be holding an information session on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024 at 100 Churchill Ave from 7 - 8 p.m. Learn about the training schedule, commitment, cost, and how they work together as a team.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to join.
Since its establishment in 1941, the Canadian Ski Patrol has been dedicated to providing first aid and rescue services. Its highly trained volunteers and staff have responded to countless incidents, ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
In the Sault Ste. Marie area, patrollers provide advanced first aid care, on-snow evacuation at Searchmont Resort and Hiawatha Highlands, and first aid support at community venues like GFL Memorial Gardens and events such as Rotaryfest.
