Are you looking for something to do this winter? Try joining a book club.

The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library is hosting three book clubs running from February to May.

There will be two sessions of 'The Tuesday Book Club,’ one in the morning and one in the afternoon. 

They meet on the third Tuesday of each month.

The cost is $25 per person and registration starts on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The Tuesday Book Club Meeting Dates:

Feb. 18th
Book Club A – Morning Session: The Stolen Child by Ann Hood
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: Before the Swallows Come Back by Fiona Curnow

March 18th
Book Club A – Morning Session: Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Storm We Made by Vanessa Chan

April 15th
Book Club A – Morning Session: Before the Swallows Come Back by Fiona Curnow
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Stolen Child by Ann Hood

May 20th
Book Club A – Morning Session: The Storm We Made by Vanessa Chan
Book Club B – Afternoon Session: Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune

There’s also a Mystery and Suspense Book Club. It meets on the second Wednesday of each month.

Feb. 12th – The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon
March 12th – The Quarry Girls by Jess Lourey
April 9th – The Only Survivors by Megan Miranda
May 14th – Zero Days by Ruth Ware

Registration opens Wednesday, Jan. 8 and it costs $25 per person.

People can also register in-person at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library’s Reference and Information Desk.
