Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is inviting you to make your move at the Bon Soo Chess Tournament.
The free, all-ages event takes place at the North Branch Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration opens Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. Just call the North Branch at 705-759-5248.
Rules:
- four-round tournament (11:00, 12:00, 13:30, 14:30)
- Time control: 25m | 10s
- Pre-registration required (36 player capacity)
- Sign in begins at 10:30 a.m.; first game begins 11 a.m. sharp
- Touch move rule in effect. No byes allowed
- Must have ability to checkmate
