SAULT RINGETTE CLUB

Ringette is a fast-paced, exciting, and uniquely Canadian sport that has been bringing communities together for decades. This sport emphasizes teamwork, skill development, and fun, making it a great choice for young athletes and families looking to try something new.
Sault Ringette Club invites children and families to experience the game firsthand at our Come Try Ringette event.
This free event is open to everyone ages four and up, and for this event a special focus on welcoming newcomers to Canada, new residents of Sault Ste. Marie and young girls looking to get involved in sports.
Date: Sunday, April 6
Location: Northern Community Centre, Sault Ste. Marie
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Ages: Four and up
Cost: Free
What You Need to Know:
- Skates, helmets, and warm gloves are required for participation.
- No skating experience is necessary—helpers will be available to assist on and off the ice.
- Thanks to our partnership with the YNCU Motivate 2 Skate program, a limited number of skates and helmets will be available to borrow. If you have your own, please bring them.
- We will also be hosting a skate and helmet drive, collecting gently used equipment to ensure more children have access to sport.
