High pressure will keep the Sault region locked into colder-than-normal conditions and keep the worst of the snow away. A significant snowstorm will move into Ontario late Wednesday into Thursday, and it should miss the Sault to the south and bring just a light dusting of snow. If that storm changes its track a bit further to the north, the light snow forecasted for Wednesday night could become much more.
Monday brings a mix of sun and cloud, with daytime highs near -5°C. A few centimetres of snow is possible in the evening and overnight.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with daytime highs only reaching -10°C.
Wednesday will bring morning sun, with additional cloud cover arriving in the afternoon as temperatures reach -8°C. Light snow will arrive in the evening and overnight.
Thursday and Friday bring a mix of sun and cloud with colder-than-normal daytime highs near -7°C.
