The Sault Ste. Marie Gymnastics Club hosted the Spring Classic Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the John Rhodes Centre.
Jonathan Mitchell of the Sault club, shown above, will be travelling to Burlington for the provincial competitions on April 16.
Thirty-three gymnasts from the Sault club participated in the Spring Classic with 21 visiting from the YMCA, 23 from Extreme North Gymnastics in Chelmsford and one athlete from Columbus Ohio.
The total number of competitors in the one-day event was 78.
