Sooites have added their voices to the chorus of calls for Vyron Phillips to face former boxing champion Roy Jones Jr. and URShow.tv is going to make it happen.
Phillips, a former Algoma University basketball player and current mixed martial arts fighter, finished about 1500 likes ahead of his nearest competitor.
As reported earlier by SooToday's Brad Coccimiglio, Phillips trains locally at Gracie Jiu Jitsu and holds a 6-3 pro MMA record. The former basketball player also has a boxing background and said Jones was one of his idols and someone he mirrored his own boxing style after.
