NEWS RELEASE
ALGOMA UNIVERSITY ALUMNI COUNCIL
***************************
The Algoma University Alumni Council is looking for new members! Council members are involved in building and maintaining alumni participation and involvement within Algoma University and the communities in which the university operates.

The council spearheads events, participates in university activities, and are volunteer ambassadors representing their Alma Mater.

“There are so many benefits to joining the Alumni Council,” shared Tee Komsa, newly appointed chair of the Algoma University Alumni Council. “Having the opportunity to sit on council allows individuals to stay involved and give back to Algoma U's initiatives as well as network, gain volunteer experience, and have fun!"

Echoing what Komsa shared, Ashley Foster, manager of Alumni and strategic initiatives at Algoma University shared that, “Council allows alumni to have their voices heard and make an impact, as well as help to move forward the strategic initiatives of Algoma University - all while attending fun events and connecting with other alumni!”

Interested in becoming a member? Apply today! Application deadline is Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at 4 p.m.
